Harris County man surrenders after escaping Joint Processing Center
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A Harris County escapee is back in custody after he turned himself in to the Houston Police Department on Tuesday.
Travis Earl Bryant II, 47, escaped from the Joint Processing Center in Harris County on Jan. 28 just before 1 p.m.

The backstory:
Bryant was being transferred to Jefferson County on a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance case from the county.
He was arrested on Jan. 22 in Harris County on an outstanding warrant.
