Search for escapee Salvador Saucedo in Bellville
BELLVILLE, Texas - Multiple law enforcement agencies are actively searching for a man who escaped custody Thursday evening in Bellville.
Salvador Saucedo escapes in Bellville
What we know:
The Austin County Sheriff's Office says Salvador Saucedo escaped from Midcoast Medical Center Bellville around 7 p.m. Thursday.
Belville police say Saucedo was last seen on video at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He was traveling north on North Granville Street toward Centerhill Road and away from the Clark Park area.
He was wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans. He is described as a Hispanic male with face tattoos, missing front teeth and brown hair with reddish highlights.
He is not handcuffed.

What we don't know:
It's not known if Saucedo is even still in Bellville.
It's also not known if he is armed.
The backstory:
The Waller County Sheriff's Office says Saucedo had been in their custody undergoing testing at the hospital at the time of his escape.
The sheriff's office says he was placed in custody for possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer.

The Waller County Sheriff's Office, the Austin County Sheriff's Office and the Bellville Police Department are among the agencies searching for Saucedo.
Police say K-9 tracking dogs, heat detection drones and other resources are being utilized.
