After a very intense and emotional day in court on Monday, day two of the Noor Salman trial began  Thursday morning.

Jurors in the trial of the wife of the man who shot and killed 49 people inside a Florida nightclub watched graphic videos of the massacre. The video shown in federal court Thursday included footage of Salman's husband, Omar Mateen, as he stalked the nightclub, spraying bullets and reloading as people tried to crawl to safety.

Prosecutors spoke with two witnesses from the FBI. They also showed a video timeline of the event and a bomb squad searching for explosives, as well as photographs from the scene and the weapons recovered. These photos included a picture of Mateen's body. Salman would not look up at the photos of him.

On Monday, Salman's defense attorneys tried to paint her as a woman who was naive and unaware of what her husband was planning.

But the prosecution argued differently, telling the jury that Salman rode in the car with Pulse nightclub gunman, Omar Mateen, while he scouted locations and purchased guns and ammunition. They also argued that Salman wrote a confession and handwritten note apologizing for not alerting police about the attack.

After opening statements, the court heard from witnesses and even saw video taken inside the nightclub during the shooter.

The trial is scheduled to last three weeks. It's expected to be intense, as jurors will see graphic evidence and hear testimony from Mateen's victims.

Noor Salman is charged with aiding and abetting her husband, Omar Mateen. She's pleaded not guilty.
