Body of 16-year-old recovered after teen drowned in river, Harris County Sheriff's Office says

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The body of a 16-year-old boy that drowned near Magnolia Garden Park was recovered, according to Harris County deputies.

Authorities were told the teen may have been visiting from California.

Deputies say he was allegedly playing catch in the marina and went deep south. He was unable to swim and not wearing a life jacket.
