HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Gone are the days when dating required an actual conversation in person. Dating has developed into apps and less face-to-face interaction, which is exactly why Rose Matchmakers has introduced as an ice breaking event in Houston with speed dating in the dark.

Here’s how it works: an invitation goes out to solicit single people who are interested with a group of twenty men and women selected and invited to the event.

Once they arrive, the singles mix and mingle with numbers instead of names. The matchmaker observes them and selects five couples to go into a room. They are then asked to place a blindfold over their eyes and walked into the dark room.
