Bayou City Buzz - James Prince Day

Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince is known as the "King of the South". On January 30, 2007, the City of Houston proclaimed an official James Prince Day.

Every year he chooses to celebrate it by feeding the homeless. Reporter CoCo Dominguez joined him at St. John's Bread of Life Church where they welcomed local men and women for a warm meal, sleeping bag, and personal hygiene items. In addition, they also received a health package from the Houston Health Department.

"Since the City of Houston was so gracious in giving me my day, let it be known this is what I chose to do with it," James said. "Fill their stomachs up and make sure they're as warm and comfortable as possible."

The industry is buzzing about James' latest venture, he's decided to put out a book, "The Art and Science of Respect". No release date yet, but James says he aiming for the end of March or beginning of April.
