Amber Alert discontinued; Freeport babies found safe

HOUSTON, TX - Police say the two missing Freeport babies have been found safe this morning. There was an overnight Amber Alert issued for 17-month-old Dominic Smith and 6-month-old Daniel Smith. Police say they believed the babies were with their parents, Ryan and Ashley Smith.  However, Ryan Smith was then found in his red Jeep, and Ashley then gave the babies to the authorities shortly after. The father, Ryan Smith told FOX 26 Nate Griffin that CPS had investigated him for child abuse.
