Sea otter at Oregon Zoo learns how to play basketball

The Oregon Zoo has an unlikely, yet adorable, rising star.

Juno is a five-year-old rescued southern sea otter with a hidden talent. Zoo staff taught her how to dunk a ball. It’s a technique previously used with one of the zoo’s former sea otter, Eddie, to help with his arthritis. Eddit lived to be one of the oldest known sea otters.

Staff said it is a move that can help Juno as she gets older. In the meantime, it is nothing but net and nothing short of cute.

Staff at the Portland-based zoo say "Juno may be a rookie, but she's an 'ottermatic' All-Star."
