Merlion Thai Restaurant & Lounge on 4th, a Thai restaurant in Seabrook, is a multi-year participant in Houston Restaurant Weeks. The annual event benefits the Houston Food Bank. Second generation Thai chef Andrew Lobeck uses fresh local seafood to create spicy Thai shrimp and fish dishes. During a visit to FOX 26 Morning News, Chef Lobeck demonstrates how to prepare crab and apple Thai salad, which is included on the restaurant's $35 three-course HRW dinner menu. Merlion Thai Restaurant & Lounge on 4th will donate $5 to the Houston Food Bank from each meal sold.
