Matcha tea at EggHaus Gourmet

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Philipp Sitter, owner of EggHaus Gourmet™, a new breakfast and lunch restaurant in the Houston Heights district, demonstrates to FOX 26 News food segment contributor and food talk radio show host Cleverley Stone how to prepare matcha tea. The green-colored beverage is high in antioxidants and it is not brewed like traditional tea. Sitter, who drinks matcha every morning, shows how to make the matcha using the traditional bamboo whisk.

Sitter also displays his freshly-made jumbo croissants featuring fresh flower garnishes, matcha tea glaze, and chocolate with gold flakes. Sitter and his father Hans are owners of the popular King's BierHaus, which is located next door to EggHaus, and King's Biergarten in Pearland.
