Keeping germs out of the classroom
Back-to-school often means more trips to the pediatrician. So how can parents help keep germs out of the classroom?
Isabel Valdez, a physician assistant and instructor of general internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, offers advice on keeping students healthy.
Some tips:
- Promote hand washing
- Have hand sanitizer handy
- Have tissues handy
- Wipe down desks, chairs, toys and school supplies
- Stay home if you are sick.
