Houston Restaurant Weeks debut for Broken Barrel

Broken Barrel opened in early 2017 north of Houston at the Hughes Landing complex in The Woodlands. This is the first year for the restaurant in Houston Restaurant Weeks, the annual event which benefits the Houston Food Bank.

Because Broken Barrel operates in Montgomery County, the Houston Food Bank will send its donations to the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Chef/owner Hilda Ysusi shares some of the dishes from the Broken Barrel $22 two-course brunch with a complimentary cocktail and $35 three-course dinner Houston Restaurant Weeks menus.

Broken Barrel will donate $5 to the Houston Food Bank from each $35 dinner sold, with which the food bank will provide 15 meals. The restaurant will donate $3 from each brunch sold to the food bank, which will provide nine meals from each donation.
