HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Southern Goods is a restaurant, bar and live music venue located on 19th Street in the historic Houston Heights district. The menu blends traditional and modern Southern cuisines. Chef/owner Lyle Bento, chef de cuisine J.D. Woodward and sous chef Patrick Feges have cultivated dishes that are familiar but with a fresh twist. The restaurant is only open for dinner during the week but offers brunch, lunch and dinner on weekends.
