HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Ryan and Keisha Hazen moved into the historic First Ward of Houston several years ago. From the moment they arrived, they wished that there was a coffee shop in the neighborhood.
The solar energy expert and the geologist created Cafeza, the first coffee shop near the intersection of Houston and Washington avenues. Transforming a former tattoo removal facility into a restaurant was no easy task. The cafe opened on Sept. 10.
During a visit to Cafeza, FOX 26 News contributor Cleverley Stone meets Chef Ivan Ortiz who demonstrates how to make churros at home and how to make pretty designs in our coffee while the owners describe the concept and space of the restaurant.
