Tornado Forms in Louisiana Suburb as Severe Weather Hits State

A tornado was captured on camera spinning across Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 2. Footage filmed by Annsley Bradshaw shows a tornado forming amid flashes of light. Parts of the state continued to be under a tornado watch until the morning of March 3, and severe weather rattled through many cities.

Several Southeaster states are recovering after severe weather brought a wave of tornadoes through the area on Thursday evening with wind gusts of more than 70 miles per hour being reported.

Threat for severe weather should end by midnight with the line expected to be right over Houston around 10 PM. Although the biggest severe threat & tornado threat will remain over North Texas. Houston remains in a category 2 out of 5 threat for severe weather. This means that a few storms could produce damaging winds, hail & possibly a tornado.
