Univerisity of Houston lands highly-recruitied offensive tackle
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Iowa Western Community College offensive tackle Na’ty Rodgers verbally committed to play for the University of Houston.
Rodgers, 6-5, 290-pounds, is part of the Cougars 2016 recruiting class.
He chose UH over Ole Miss, TCU, Arizona St. and Louisville, who had made offers to him.
He was a a Four-Star recruit while playing at McDonough High School in Waldorf, Md , and was named an Under Armour All-American.
Rodgers originally signed with South Carolina, where he redshirted his freshman year.
He will join the Cougars with two years of eligibility.
