Top high school big man considering Houston, Texas

College basketball sources told FOX 26 Sports five-star center Jarrett Allen, from  St. Stephen’s Episcopal in Austin, has narrowed his choices to the University of Houston and Texas.

Allen has since tweeted that he is still considering Kansas.

The sources told FOX 26 Allen could make his decision within the next two weeks.

Allen, 6-10, 235, is one of the top unsigned players in the 2016 class.

He has also considered Kentucky and Notre Dame.

Allen averaged 19.7 points and 13.3 rebounds during the 2015-16 season, and helped lead St. Stephen’s to its second consecutive Southwest Preparatory State Championship.

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches named Allen its Boys Player of the Year.
