Texans trade Keshawn Martin to Patriots

The Texans have traded receiver Keshawn Martin to the Patriots.

Details of the deal have not been released as of yet.

Martin was the Texans' fourth-round pick out of Michigan State in 2012. In his three years with the team, in 48 games (including two starts), Martin had 38 receptions for 416 yards and three touchdowns. He was used mainly in the return game and had one punt return touchdown in 2013.

The Texans will be adding a receiver to take Martin's spot on the roster when they sign Chandler Worthy off their practice squad.

Also, the Texans have signed OT Joseph Treadwell to their practice squad and have claimed OT Oday Aboushi off waivers from the Jets.
