Teen at center of fake $10 bill case appears in court

A teen, accused of passing a fake $10 bill, appeared in court for the first time on Monday. Alec Hunter, a sophomore student at Elkins High School, is accused of forgery by a campus police officer -- that's after Alec says he and his friends found a $10 bill on campus.

Hunter says he tried to pay for his school lunch with the money but a cafeteria worker didn't accept it and it was turned over to school police. The case placed the student in the juvenile justice system where he's accused of forgery. Hunter's trial has been scheduled for May 23.
