Store clerk fatally shot in northwest Houston

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say several suspects fled the scene after a gas station store clerk was fatally shot in northwest Harris County.

Police say several men entered a gas station near FM 1960 and Perry around 10 p.m. Friday.

Investigators say the men held the store clerk at gun point and went for the money, but something happened and one of the suspects shot the clerk. She died at the scene.

Houston police are reviewing surveillance footage from the gas station and several other surrounding stores to find the suspects.
