Houston sports teams have also shown their support, by visiting with students, inviting them to games and wearing shirts in their honor. Alvin High School students were bussed to Santa Fe Tuesday morning to encourage students on the tough journey back to school.

Graduation for high school seniors will be held on Friday, June 1, at Joe Raitano Memorial Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
