Houston Arboretum takes hiking trails to the next level

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center has been open since 1967, but for some reason, it's still referred to as a hidden gem.

A gem is the best way to describe the trails and as of just days ago, they’ve unveiled a newly designed ravine trail as part of the nonprofit’s Master Plan.

Located near Memorial Park, this luxe hiking trail is different from other existing trails. This one is elevated and the trail is mulch, which makes for a nice stroll.

Admission is free for everyone, you’ll only have to pay for parking if you are not a member.
