Houston weather: Bush Airport, Hobby Airport flights grounded; check flight status

HOUSTON - The heavy rain and severe storms rolling over Houston are having an impact on flights at Bush and Hobby Airport.

Bush Airport, Hobby Airport delays

According to the FAA, the departures from Bush are delayed for nearly an hour due to heavy rain and storms. The ground delay is expected to be in place until 2 p.m.

Bush Airport is also under a ground stop until 11:45 a.m.  Hobby Airport has also been issued a ground stop until 12:15 p.m. due to thunderstorms.
