Florida man would rather 'go to jail' than go home to wife as he gets caught driving from sunroof

A driver is caught on camera performing a dangerous stunt.

A Florida man claiming he would rather “go to jail” than back home to his wife was arrested Friday after being caught driving on a highway while standing up through the sunroof and not behind the wheel, according to Fox News. The deputy said Olsen was speeding more than 100 mph down the highway and later slowed down to 40 mph, WTSP reported. The man then stood up and sat on his open sunroof while the car was still moving.

Olsen told police that his “wife treats me like a servant and she's the mistress” and that he’s “tired of this s---.” The man added that he would rather “go to jail than go back home", Fox News reports.

An off-duty Hillsborough County sheriff's deputy captured the drama on his cell phone. It shows Olsen artms stretched out taking in the sights after activating cruise control in Polk County.

A trooper caught up with the Cadillac and pulled him over. He also said he thought it would be a nice way to praise God for a minute.

Olsen was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving.
