Char-Broil is recalling more than 10,000 Bistro Pro electric grills in the United States because a grounding wire connected to the heating element can disconnect, potentially eliminating fault protection and creating an electric shock hazard.
The recall was announced Thursday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The company recalled about 10,605 Charbroil Bistro Pro Electric Grills in the U.S. An additional 342 affected grills were sold in Canada.
They were sold in full-size and tabletop configurations in black, red, blackout and emerald green finishes.

The recalled grills were sold at Ace Hardware, Lowe’s, Walmart, Wayfair, QVC and other hardware stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Charbroil.com, Ace Hardware.com, Lowes.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, QVC.com and other online retailers from October 2025 through June 2026 for between $150 and $250.
No injuries or incidents were reported in the recall notice.

The grills have a "CB" logo plate on the front of the lid and "CHARBROIL" printed on the front control panel, the CPSC said.
Only grills bearing manufacturing date codes 2510, 2511 or 2512 were included in the recall. The date code appears with the model and serial number on the product label. On full-size grills, the label is located on the bottom shelf, and on tabletop models, it is on the side bar.
The affected model numbers are:
- 25302145 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode, Black
- 25302146 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode, Red
- 25302147 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill + Charcoal Mode, Blackout
- 25302148 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill + Charcoal Mode, Black
- 25302149 — Bistro Pro Tabletop Electric Grill, Black
- 25302150 — Bistro Pro Tabletop Electric Grill, Red
- 25302151 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode, Black with Cover
- 25302159 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode, Red with Cover
- 25302163 — Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode, Emerald with Cover

The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled grills and contact Char-Broil for a free repair kit.

Consumers will be asked to register to receive repair instructions, a screwdriver, a wrench, screws and a label to affix to the grill after repair.
Char-Broil is also offering a digital $25 gift card, valid at participating retailers, to consumers who provide photo documentation of the completed repair.
