David's Law aims to criminalize cyberbullying

TEXAS CITY, Texas (FOX 26) - A Texas senator has worked closely with a San Antonio family to craft a new bill that would criminalize cyberbullying.

It's called "David's Law" named after a 16-year-old boy who took his own life in January 2016.

A Texas City family who lost their daughter is joining in this fight.

Numbers from the Centers for Disease Control show suicide is the second leading cause of death among teenagers.
