Steve Sarkisian speaks on Nansen's arrest
What they're saying:
Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian mentioned Nansen's arrest at a team press conference on Thursday morning.
"We are obviously aware of the situation. I'm still gathering facts. I'm still monitoring the situation," said head coach Steve Sarkisian. "We're obviously disappointed, but that's all I really have about that at this time."
He also noted that Nansen was not at Thursday's practice.
Nansen's status for this weekend's game is still up in the air.
"We've got other staff members on staff and the choices and decisions they make off the field. And so, we've got to learn from one other, but I don't think that it takes away from what an incredible win and incredible environment we had last Saturday night," said Sark.
