Study: One in ten Americans prefer a week in jail over moving

Would you rather go to jail for a week than undergo the stress...of moving? 

A new study found that one in ten Americans would prefer to spend a week in jail than move.

The study conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Life Storage surveyed, '2,000 Americans’ thoughts on moving found that by the numbers, American movers can expect approximately two nights of lost sleep, four hours of hard labor, three hours of procrastinating, two arguments with a roommate or partner, and two frustrated cries during their next move.'

Also, 'one in five Americans say moving is more stressful than planning a wedding and 27 percent think there's more pressure placed on them during a move than during a job interview and more than one in ten 13 percent even go as far as to say it’s more stressful than a week in jail.'

According to the study, moving can be a long process it takes the average American nearly four and a half months to completely unpack all of their items after moving. It takes about two and a half months to pack things up in the first place.
