Shooting in Tomball, mother and son wounded

Police in Tomball say a man shot his wife and son before turning the gun on himself.
By 6:00 A.M. Friday morning, the detectives had left the scene, but the second son of that husband and wife did show up just minutes ago and spoke with FOX 26 reporter Lindsey Henry. He told us his dad had been suffering from depression for some time and he was shocked to hear what happened on Facebook early this morning. Tomball police were called out here at 10:00 p.m. for shots fired. When they got to the area near South Walnut Street, they found two victims outside. One was taken by life flight to downtown. That man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. The other was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands. There was belief of a suspect inside, but when the S.W.A.T. team got here, they found the suspect was dead outside. Now James Jacobson says it was his father that was the suspect, Gerald Trent Jacobson. He says his brother Chris and his mother Kathy are still in the hospital.
“It sucks. We ain't got a father no more. He's gone.”, he said.
James also told us his mother in the Woodlands had surgery and is out of surgery now and she's talking, and that she seems to be doing okay. Now he and his wife are on their way to the Med Center to check on his brother.
