Pay parity negotiating on the table - What's Your Point?

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Under heavy pressure from city council members and the taxpaying public, Mayor Sylvester Turner announced this week that he would meet with Houston Firefighters and discuss implementation of Proposition B - voter approved pay parity for first responders.

Firefighters, who issued a standing offer to return to the negotiating table hours after the election, say they are "encouraged", but issued a sharply worded letter warning the mayor not to engage in what they described as "divisive, campaign-style" public meetings.
