Sally is a slow-moving hurricane. It will crawl onshore with very heavy rains.

Flash flooding is a major concern for many in Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida peninsula. These flooding concerns will last for several days not just at landfall.

The only impact on Southeast Texas will be extra humidity leading to more showers.
