HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A 17-year-old was killed in a crash involving at least three vehicles on the Fred Hartman Bridge on Thursday.

What we know:
Officials said the crash happened just before noon on Thursday in the southbound lanes of the Fred Hartman Bridge between the cities of La Porte and Baytown involving at least three vehicles. It was reported that one of the vehicles involved was a motorcycle.
When deputies arrived, officials said the rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old white male, was unresponsive.
Authorities said medical aid was provided, and Baytown Fire and EMS arrived a short time later. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials stated the southbound lanes of the bridge were shut down while Precinct 8 crash investigators processed the scene. Some lanes remained closed until shortly after 3:30 p.m.
