Last-minute ways to celebrate mom this Mother's Day
Still looking for a way to celebrate mom this Mother’s Day?
If you're considering taking her to a restaurant, a TripAdvisor survey says mom's top choice for food is to go out to brunch. Only 16 percent of the moms said that happened last year. Second-best is to home-cook your mom a meal. Forty-eight percent of moms said they just want to spend time with their families on Mother's Day.
If you’re more of the crafty type, Meagan Clanahan from Houston Moms Blog shared some ideas you still have time to put together.
Family photo: Clanahan suggests getting a photo of mom and the kids printed on a canvas or framed.
Staycation basket: Fill a basket with things like wine and a good book for some relaxation time.
Breakfast in bed: Clanahan says breakfast in bed is a great idea, but let mom sleep in. She says you don’t have to make the food – you can pick it up at a restaurant. You can top it off with a mimosa.
