Harris County pct. 4 deputy survives shootout with 23 year old armed robber

Deputy Deteryon Fontonet has been released from the hospital after a frightening encounter with a 23-year-old armed robbery suspect. Fontonet was pursuing the suspect after they had robbed two Academy stores in quick succession. During the pursuit, the suspect opened fire on the deputy using an AR-style weapon, injuring him in the process.
