DNA Day: Get an inside look at how DNA is processed

Tuesday is National DNA Day. This year is also the 20th anniversary of the completion of the Human Genome Project, an international research project that taught us much of what we know about DNA. The Baylor College of Medicine Human Genome Sequencing Center (HGSC) was one of the five international groups that generated more than 80% of the Human Genome Project data. The HGSC is continuing research that can help lead to new tests and treatments for genetic diseases.
