San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich makes surprise appearance at Social Justice Summit
Back in 2014, The National Basketball Coaches Association partnered with The Innocence Project to address inequality, empower youth and educate people about their rights. Coach Pop was instrumental in making that happen and appeared at the summit to honor his longtime friend and Innocence Project co-founder Barry Scheck. Addressing the country's mass incarceration problem, Popovich called America a country he no longer recognizes.
