HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Former MLB pitcher Anthony Young, a Furr High School grad, sent the following quote about Tuesday's tragic bus crash.
Young e-mailed FOX 26 with the following:
"I was deeply saddened to learn of today's tragedy, not only as a graduate of Furr High School, but also as a father. My heart and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of both the deceased and injured."
Young pitched in the big leagues from 1991-1996 with the Mets, Cubs, and the Astros following a college career at the University of Houston.
