HOUSTON - Police are searching for several suspects following a deadly home invasion in northwest Houston on Monday evening.
The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 6500 block of Thornwall Street.
According to police, the suspects reportedly approached a resident who was outside the home and forced the resident inside the house.
Police say the resident reported that the suspects ransacked the home, encountered another resident in bed and shot him.
The 31-year-old man who was shot was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects are described only as four, young Black males with their faces covered. Police say they were in a grey or black hatchback, believed to be a Toyota Prius, which had dark rims. At least one seat reportedly had a pink cover on it.
Police released a surveillance photo of the vehicle.
