One person killed in shooting at downtown apartment complex

Houston police are investigating the shooting death of a person.

Around 3:42 p.m., police were called to the 1800 block of St. Joseph Parkway near Hamilton.

According to police, a couple people called in and said there was a disturbance involving a person with a gun.

Police arrived and confirmed one person dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide will investigate.
