Male in custody after SWAT standoff in Sunnyside

HOUSTON (FOX 26) — Police say a suspect is in custody after SWAT and hostage negotiation teams arrived to the Sunnyside neighborhood following an initial report of an armed barricaded male.

Police say the call on Phlox Street came in as a shooting at 12:45 p.m. Monday No injuries have been reported.
