The Houston Police Department investigates a shooting on Jensen.
HOUSTON - Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 14-year-old boy in north Houston on Monday night.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 11:15 p.m. at a convenience store in the 7600 block of Jensen Drive near Crosstimbers.

Authorities found a teen boy had been shot multiple times on his lower body. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital, and he was last reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators watched surveillance video from the scene and learned that the juvenile victim arrived to the store on his bicycle.
According to police, a man in his 30s to early 40s came out of the store and approached the teen. The unknown suspect then pulled out a gun, chased the teen and then fired several shots.
They found the victim with gunshot wounds to his legs. The suspect left the scene with an unknown black female in a four-door silver pickup truck.

Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the shooting and if an altercation may have occurred earlier in the evening.
Police say one person who was detained appears to be a witness.
The investigation is ongoing.
