Houston - The Houston Police Department is investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide in southwest Houston.

Authorities were alerted to a shooting at 4822 Grasilla Drive around 10:00 p.m. Christmas Day. Upon arrival, HPD and the Houston Fire Department discovered a man and a woman upstairs in a bedroom with gunshot wounds inside the residence. The female victim,34, suffered multiple gunshot wounds while the male suspect, 43, suffered one gunshot wound. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators discovered that the man and woman involved were married, and their three daughters, aged 6, 9, and 14, were present in the house when the shooting occurred. According to one of the children, she overheard her parents arguing before hearing multiple gunshots.
