Harris County crime: Suspect taken into custody following brief pursuit that ended on North Freeway

The Brief

    • Harris County authorities have a suspect in custody following a brief pursuit on Monday evening.
    • The vehicle the suspects were driving in got into an accident on the mainlanes of I-45 northbound before Fallbrook.

Suspect in custody following Harris County pursuit

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - What we know: Harris County authorities have a suspect in custody following a pursuit that began around 8 p.m. on Monday night. 

Officials said the chase began near Kuykendahl and Dominion Park. 

Authorities said the suspect was stopped on I-45 and Gulfbank.

What we don't know: Authorities have not identified the suspect involved in the incident. They also haven't confirmed what led up to the pursuit.
