Encuentro Flamenco Internacional in Houston on Sept. 29

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - By day, she's a professional consultant and strategist in the oil and gas sector, but her true passion is flamenco dancing. Mercy Renteria founded Undebel Flamenco Houston in late 2016 when Houston was absorbing the downturn in oil and gas. She produces shows locally and internationally and teaches flamenco dancing classes to children and adults.

Renteria is one of the organizers of the Encuentro Flamenco Internacional event in Houston on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. at the MECA complex on Kane Street.
