Driver crashes in southeast Houston after apparent shooting

Police investigate a crash on Quince Street early Friday morning.

HOUSTON - Authorities say a driver who crashed through a fence and into a tree in southeast Houston appears to have been shot.

Emergency crews responded to the 7100 block of Quince Street around 1:55 a.m. Friday.

The driver was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The Houston Police Department is investigating.
