Delta variant detected at League City church camp COVID-19 outbreak
Galveston County Health experts say the Delta variant was detected after a mass coronavirus outbreak at a church camp. More than 125 people from Clear Creek Community Church in League City tested positive for COVID-19 when they got home from the camp. Dr. Pedro Piedra, professor of molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine, shares some insight.
