Dramatic rescue at sea as Italian Coast guard saves 149 migrants
The Italian Coast Guard staged a rescue operation that saved the lives of 149 migrants a mile off the coast of Lampedusa on November 23, after the 10-meter (33-foot) boat they were traveling in overturned. Those rescued totaled 133 men, 13 women, and three children. including a one-year-old baby.
