Sunday Morning Forecast with Meteorologist Lena Maria
After a cold start to Sunday morning, we'll get back near 60 by the afternoon with full sunshine and lighter winds. The workweek will be off to a fantastic start, as high pressure builds back in returning us to that pattern of chilly mornings and mild afternoons. Things will get breezy out of the south-southwest on Tuesday as our next system approaches. This front looks to be a bit stronger, so we'll keep an eye on how things develop. For now, plan for showers and storms Wednesday-Thursday some of which have the potential to be a bit stronger. Gusty northerly winds behind the front bring us a brief, sharp drop in temps for Friday and then conditions will improve as we head into the weekend.
