HOUSTON - An investigation is underway in north Houston after deputies were allegedly called to an active rooster fighting ring in the area.

Deputies at the scene allegedly found rooster fights and gambling at the scene.

An investigation is underway after authorities allegedly found a rooster fighting ring on Little York Road in Houston. Detectives provided information at the scene.
Detectives say at least 70 roosters were found at the scene. Some of them were dead, but most were alive.
