Houston crash: Vehicle crashes into escape room at Weslayan Plaza

An investigation is underway after a vehicle crashed into an escape room in Houston on Wednesday afternoon. 

Vehicle crashes into Houston escape room

What we know:

According to Houston police, the crash occurred in Weslayan Plaza, located near the intersection of Law Street and Weslayan Street. 

Officials said the driver, who appeared to be an elderly man, was driving an older model Toyota Camry. We're told the driver stayed on the scene. 

Staff members at the escape room, called Locktopia Escape Room, said they were in the back of the building and weren't hurt. 

Officials stated the vehicle hit an interior wall and caused serious structural damage. 

A local salesman told FOX 26 his car was side swiped before the crash as he was in the office next door with a customer at the time of the crash.

What we don't know:
